Forces v2026.9.4 brings a new Games tab, so you can plan the games you have coming up, keep score while you play, and log the result. It also adds a way to report a wrong unit, option or points value without leaving the roster editor.
The New Games Tab
Forces has always been about the list. The new Games tab is about what you do with it: the games you have lined up, the one on the table right now, and the ones you've played. Every game keeps its opponent, roster, mission, venue, score, photos and notes together in one place.
Plan a game
New Game walks through four steps: the game system, the matchup, the setup and the result. Name your opponent and their faction, or link their contact card and Discord handle so messaging them is one tap. Pick which of your rosters you're bringing, then the mission, points limit and venue. Add a date and the game lands in Upcoming, with Add to Calendar and Open in Maps on the details screen. Games without a date sit in their own section until you schedule them.
If you'd like help before the game, Generate Game Plan builds a plan for this specific matchup from your linked roster (Forces Pro). Change the roster afterwards and the plan is flagged as out of date rather than quietly going stale.
Keep score while you play
Press Play when the game starts and the Score tab becomes a tracker. If you've downloaded the mission pack for your game system, pick the mission and the tracker sets up its scoring categories, per-round caps and end-of-game conditions for you. Tap + as victory points are scored, undo a mistake, and both totals update as you go. The scorecard shows what was earned, what counted after caps, and a score-over-time chart by round.
No mission pack, or playing something unsupported? Quick score keeps one running total per player.
On iOS a Live Activity shows the current score on the Lock Screen for the length of the game, so a glance at your phone is enough between turns.
Log the result
Finish sets the outcome from the tracked score, or you can enter it by hand. The Media tab takes photos straight from the camera or your library, with tags so the deployment shot and the final board state are easy to find later. Notes support Markdown. Rematch creates a new game against the same opponent with the setup carried over.
My Stats gets a Record card with your wins, losses, draws and win rate, broken down by game system once you've played more than one.
Report a Data Issue
Every now and then something in a roster is wrong: a unit still on last season's points, a wargear option that never shows up, a rule that fires when it shouldn't. Sometimes that's the catalogue data, which comes from the BSData community; sometimes it's Forces misreading a catalogue that is perfectly fine. Until now, telling the two apart and getting either one fixed meant working it out yourself and writing to support or filing a GitHub issue.
Now you can report it from the spot where you noticed it. The report comes to me with everything needed to reproduce the problem. If it's a Forces bug, I fix it in the app. If it's a genuine data issue, I pass it on to the right BSData repository with your details attached.
Where to find it
There are two ways in, each tied to the moment you'd notice something off:
What gets sent
The report sheet asks two things: what's wrong, and a few words on what you expected. Everything else is attached for you.
