Forces v2026.8.1 adds push notifications for game system data updates, folders for your synced rosters, and — for those catching up since 2026.7.0 — a much smarter Meta screen plus account sign-in to carry Forces Pro across your devices.
All Platforms
Repository Update Notifications (Forces Pro)
Installed repositories now show a notification bell. Subscribe to a game system and Forces will send you a push notification whenever its data files are updated — no more checking manually after a balance dataslate drops. Available to Forces Pro subscribers.
Synced Roster Folders
If you keep a lot of rosters on your Forces account, the synced section can now group them into folders by game system. Turn on "Group synced rosters by game system" in Display Settings and your 40k, Age of Sigmar, and other lists each get their own folder.
Also Since 2026.7.0
Version 2026.8.0 shipped quietly between blog posts — here's what it brought:
A Smarter Meta Screen
The faction Meta screen gained a detachment breakdown — see which detachments players are fielding and how popular each one is, then tap one to filter the unit statistics to just those armies. Every unit also gets a details screen showing how often it's taken, what it's most often fielded alongside, and its common wargear. And you can now pick a time range: the last 90 days, the last year, or all time.
Your Account, Everywhere
A new Account screen in Settings lets you sign in with Google to sync rosters across devices, publish them as shareable links, and carry your Forces Pro subscription with you — no more re-purchasing when you switch phones or add a tablet.
Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition Polish
Keyword highlighting and Wahapedia rules links now extend to 11th Edition (previously 10th Edition only), and unit handling got a round of fixes — particularly units containing models with different invulnerable saves.
Bug Fixes
A few standout fixes:
- Meta Date Ranges — reports no longer ignore the requested date range and always return all-time statistics
- 11th Edition Detachments — rosters with multiple detachments now report all of them to the meta dataset instead of just the first
