The 2026.5.0 release is a correctness-focused update for Warhammer 40k 10th edition. Several long-standing issues with how stat modifiers apply to your army lists have been fixed, and the changes are now saved directly into your rosters.
All Platforms
Detachment Enhancements Now Work Correctly
Detachment Enhancements — like Artificer Armour on a Captain — now correctly modify unit characteristics. Previously, a Captain's Save would stay at 3+; with this fix it properly upgrades to 2+ as written. Other detachment enhancements work the same way.
Crusade Battle Honours & Faction Relics Fixed
Battle Honours, relics, and other Crusade upgrades now correctly modify unit stats. Ironskein adds 2 to a unit's Wounds as expected, and other Crusade honours apply properly to your narrative forces.
Crusade Weapon Modifications Fixed
Weapon modifications from Crusade lists — like Armour Piercing improving AP, or Brutal increasing Strength — now apply correctly to your Crusade weapons. Previously these changes weren't being applied at all.
Detachment-Wide Buffs Apply Across the Whole Force
T'au Experimental Prototype Cadre's +6" Range, Custodes Solar Spearhead's +2 Movement on Walkers, Chaos Knights Lords of Dread's +2 OC on War Dogs — these detachment-wide buffs now apply to every applicable unit in your force, not just a subset.
Stat Changes Now Saved Into Roster Files
When a stat is modified by a detachment enhancement, Crusade honour, or weapon modification, that change is now baked directly into your saved roster. This means stat changes display correctly in the unit list, in shared rosters, and in printouts — even if the person viewing the roster doesn't have the catalogue installed.
Experimental JSON Roster Import
Forces can now import .json based roster files as an experimental feature, in addition to the standard .ros format.
Improved Support for Astra Militarum
Unit data for Astra Militarum in Warhammer 40k 10th edition has been updated and improved.
