Forces 2026.4.6

Download: App Store Google Play macOS Windows

The 2026.4.6 release is a quality-of-life update focused on better information display, smarter force management, and removing friction from the roster compose experience.

All Platforms

Points by Role on My Stats

The My Stats page has a new "Points by Role" section. It breaks down where your points are going across battlefield roles — useful for spot-checking if you're taking too many Heavy Support choices, or whether your list is balanced across the board. The breakdown is shown per game system, so your Warhammer 40k stats stay separate from your Age of Sigmar stats.

Custom Force Names

Forces Pro subscribers can now set a custom name on any force in their roster. Custom names are useful for keeping track of themed armies, narrative crusade forces, or just giving a force a name that means something to you. If you use NewRecruit to plan your lists, any custom names you set there will now also display correctly in Forces.

Improved Selection Info in Compose

Compose now shows the info (i) button on mandatory selections too — previously it only appeared on optional choices. This means things like Code Chivalric's Deed options or Quality dropdowns now show their descriptions without hunting through the rules.

Additionally, weapon keyword labels like [ASSAULT], [RAPID FIRE], and [HEAVY] are now tappable in the compose view for Warhammer 40k 10th edition. Tapping one shows the keyword's rule definition directly.

Compose No Longer Experimental for W40k 10th and AoS 4e

The experimental/incomplete warning on compose for Warhammer 40k 10th edition and Age of Sigmar 4th edition has been removed. Both systems are now treated as fully supported compose targets.

Repository Update Checks

Improved the logic for checking whether a BattleScribe repository is out of date. The check now runs more reliably across all platforms and handles edge cases that could cause stale data to go unnoticed.
